Interview: Eltomte

Interview: Eltomte
3/30/12

Monyca Medusa Meiyers: I would like to begin with how honored I am that you would take time to chat with me, I am a huge fan of your work. Mannequins are my favorite type of ASFR.So to start, what got you interested in ASFR?

Eltomte: Almost as far back that I can remember i have been interested in TF of almost any kind. First in the innocent way and later ,around 15-16 i guess, with the erotic twist. So around there i manage to find the web page "Transformation Story Archive". And in that treasure trove i found the story "Secrets" by Brat001. I read it several times and then went looking for more.

M: How long have you been interested?

E: Around 15 years give or take.

M: What is your favorite type?

E: I'd say mannequins if fighting for top placement with love dolls.

M: Why is it you like that type?

E: Well with mannequins it's that they are so obviously artificial yet made to look so very human. And that you can take them apart i really like for some reason. And with love dolls it's more of the pure sexual thing, that that is there only true purpose.

M: What got you started doing your manips?

E: Well ever since i found my first photo editing software and learned to use it i started doing photo manipulations. Stuff like switching heads and such. and when hormones started flowing sticking the heads of female school mates on bodies with less cloths in the way . So when i discovered ASFR stories and then manips I just decided to give it a go. With variable degrees of success.

M: Why do you like mannequin manips?

E: Well mostly because i like mannequins.. And when u been doing I a while u get to thinking "how can I make this better". I have tried some love doll ones as well but they didn't turn out that great. Done one or two statue ones as well but they are not really my cup o' tea.

M: Who would say you influences you artistically in ASFR?

E: Oh every time u see a good manip you take something away with you. But the biggest artisticall influents I think I'v gotten from MadBirdCZ 's stuff. I'm not entirely sure but i think it was seeing one of those that made me think. "Hey I'm gona try that".

M: What is your favorite style of the genre? Manip, Caption, CG, Line Drawing, Erotica?

E: Well being a manipulator myself there is nothing like a well made Manip. But if you take a great manip and tack on a great caption or story, that is an almost unbeatable combination. Line art for ASFR isn't one of my favorites but like I mention earlier I'm in to a lot of the other TFs out there and most of those make great line art. And I have great respect for those artists as I can barely manage a stick figure myself.

M: Where do you get your inspiration?

E: I tend to get the inspiration from the individual source images. Either it's just the woman in the picture that catches my eye and I just have to make her a mannequin or it might be the pose that is just begging to be shown of in plastic.

M: Any plans for future ideas?

E: No one knows what the future holds. Least of all me and I like it that way

M: Again I want to let you know how much of a privilege it is to speak with you and I believe I speak for everyone, please keep up the amazing work

E: There you go, enjoy.
Call again

Story Review: Stoned

Stoned
by: Jennifer Adams

http://www.fictionmania.tv/stories/readtextstory.html?storyID=30140473519869144

I had been introduced to FictionMania when I first took those baby steps onto the ocean that is the internet. It was easy to get lost in it, but when I seen a certain category I read every single story in it. One of the first stories I read was Stoned. The story was a typical of FictionMania, it heavily featured transformation, starting with gender and proceeding to objectification. Stoned is one of the few petrification stories on the site and features a size diminish aspect that does not push it into the age play area. Humor and gender transformation gives Stoned a rating of 3 out of 5.

I said I had typed in my ASFR favorites into the SL search once and I had found my mistress and lover, there was another person who popped up in that mannequin search. For the first few months on SL I was pretty preoccupied with Roen but eventually I was able to meet Mani. And it was wonderful. It was a few years before I would eventually become more equated with trance but when I would talk to her, she was definetly entrancing me. She would describe something that I had always internalized, just how much the feel of stillness was intoxicating. The words felt like Mani was speaking to me from my own emotions. I had for many years did posing, both on SL and in RL. Mani made me for one of the first times able to experience this with another person on the same level.

Maniquin is the real first exhibit. She had been a mannequin who enjoyed posing many years before I had even thought of doing the gallery. Something her and I would do way back then was to set ourselves up in shops around the grid and trance. To everyone else we were just a pair of campers possibly collecting linden, but in truth we were sharing something special.

I don't like to RP captures that lead to exhibits, I feel that it sends the wrong message. That if you come and offer to be an exhibit you will be rewarded in some way. I was speaking with some people one very very late night when I got an IM from Madadh. She commented on my role in Drake's Medusariffic, which is a sure fire way of getting on my good side. That and she was very up front. "Hey I like to RP." Do you know how rare that is? Most of the time it is in good intent but people beat around the bush and want you to get the hint they want you to RP. That an she knew what she wanted, double plus.

I really like this hole set up, because the pose just captured the RP that lead up to her exhibition. A co-ed college girl was out jogging one day when she made the mistake of interrupting me while I was gardening. Normally I am a very friendly but I was just not in a good mood, my plant was being a hassle. So I decided to turn a frustrating afternoon into a spot of fun. Before she knew it I was on her and there was nothing she could do, and I decided to play a game with her, "Cum and Become." Simply put, if she cums she will become a statue. She tried to resist in the beginning, but it was fruitless to say the least, I am after all very good at what I do. Do you think I got her to climax? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I am in love with her still wearing her running shoes. -swoon- Mony.

Lynne is one of those friendships that starts by small conversation and continues to blossom. I met Lynne on the eve of the gallery's opening and through chatting I got to know she was a bit of an ASFR new comer. It was really nice to talk with some body and get to see their blossoming to the idea of sexy stillness. She commented on a story we had both read, one that I had always found quite sexy, and I sent her one of my stories.I can be a sucker for flattery, well I am sucker for a lot of things. Lynne's reaction caught me off guard, she really seemed to like it. So the little gears got to moving.

Lynne's mannequin exhibit was the first one developed after the initial run. Her enjoyment of my story about mannequin transformation really inspired me. I just knew I had to see her as a mannequin. She also really took to posing in a way I have never seen a new girl take to. It was like Lynne was addicted. Her and I began to talk quite a bit about spending time posed and from then on she has really become one of the best mannequins I know.

When I was just but a newbie on SL I was the statue for my Mistresses' home, her and her friend had given me a home made marble skin that I wore with pride. As with most basic things on SL you eventually realize there are better quality things out there and you get the itch. The itch that can only be scratched by upgrading. What was the upgrade for a statue skin? These beautiful works by Ishtara Rothchild and Dark Delights.

These skins are highly detailed and with seamless quality marble texturing and anatomical correctness. In those days there was only the female versions with the cute little shemale upgrade but in the later period Dark Delights has added a male skin (even though not shown, I plan on getting very soon. What I can't like a guy in stone? Sexist). The skin comes in 4 different colors. Black, Cream, Rose, and White. Black and white are 2 of your standard of marble but the Rose and Cream skins are very unique. They can be a little to match with other companies products or recol0red mable hair but well worth the work in the end.

I don't want to talk negative about the other statue skins out there, but for my own opinion, the Dark Delights marble skins are still well worth your linden dollar. At 450L$ a piece with these skins are a must have for any statue lover on SL.

I wanted to make it completely clear that no one is paying me to do these reviews to talk up their wares, I am simply giving products that I enjoy the proper respect they deserve and letting all you out there know about it. As a side note I met Ishtara many years ago in a doll themed sim and was completely star struck, she is one of my ASFR rock idles. Mony.

Katelyn is one of those people that I love, a builder. Builders are my favorite statues, they take the load off of my shoulders at times. Her dark skin is a nice marble texture I haven't seen yet, I really look forward to seeing more work from Katelyn. She is an experienced statue poser who enjoys the time of quiet enjoyment familar a number of the statue parks of SL. What Can I say, I am a sucker for professional posers.

When she approached me with her idea of being something useful and she suggested something I had been putting off, a suggestion box. How could I pass that up? Not only do I get another sexy and dedicated statue to grace the gallery I also get someone to draw attention to the suggestion box.

Interview: Roen Fardel

Roen Fardel
3-21-12

Around five and a half years ago I was recommended to SL by a RP friend, she told me it was a fun place to roleplay on and kind of brought a different dynamic to the experience. So after she showed me a little bit she had to log off and then the enormity of SL set in. And that was in the days when it was only around12k residents. Well the first thing I fired into the search box was: Doll. And up pops a name, Roen Fardel. Ok, after that: Statue. And again I get Roen Fardel at the top of the search. What about Mannequin? Guess who? Roen Fardel. So I took a gamble and sent her an IM, and the rest is so much history...

Monyca Medusa Meiyers: In the spirit of full disclosure what is my relationship with you?

Roen Fardel: You're my personal key winder
I'm just kidding
You've been with me for almost my entire time in SL
Starting from being a statue next to my house, then to being my maid and closest friend, and now finally, my partner

M: -beams-
What brought you to SL in the first place?

RF: I used to frequent a website dedicated to photomanipulation called Mermaid's Tail Galleries
At the time they were hosted by FurNation.
One day, when Fur Nation went down for maintainence, they had a placeholder page saying "Come visit it us in Second Life at Furnation Worlds"
So I decided to check it out
The program, not the sim

M: What fetish did you first explore on SL?

RF: I think it may have been pony play
I had discovered a ponygirl area on the sim I lived on at the time,  and it stuck with me until i came under the care of my first mistress
I would pull her around in my cart once in a while
Trying to do that from a slow college wi-fi connection on a laggy laptop wasn't easy

M: When did you begin to develop a like for dolls?

RF: Do you want me naming names?

M: They will be changed to protect the perverted
-chuckles-

RF: -lol-
I guess it might be ok if i just use first names
While under Mandee, my first mistress, i took in a girl named Natalee. She was a doll herself
About the same time, I started to develop a like for the gothic lolita style after being introduced to it thru June Dion's shop Bare Rose
So I guess it grew out of that
Since the lolita style itself is very doll-like

M: Things always work out like that. Your keys were the first thing ASFR related I have ver seen on SL. Can you tell me if there was any before yours?

RF: I'm actually not sure. I can't even take all the credit for them. The very first ones were made by Natalee. The bronze one was made by Eclectic Randomness's Winter Ventura, and my friend UserJesse made the rose one.
I'm no scripter, so they only have the meagerest of functionality compared to all the other fancy RLV capable ones out there now

M: People like to criticize some of those older builds, I know I hold a particularfondness for the animation Preen, is there something like that that still has a special place?

RF: An older animation?

M: Or Anything in general

RF: I'm going to need to think on that for a minute
Wow, I honestly can't think of anything
Once you've been here as long as I have, things kinda muddle together
I guess my GL Yukata
It was the first thing i ever bought at Bare Rose
I hardly wear it now tho

M: Who is your favorite designer on SL?

RF: In what field?
I have a few

M: Lets say in latex

RF: For latex, I'd have to say Powers of Creation and Rubber Kittens
Rubber Kittens is sadly out of business now, but the shop still exists

M: What about in lolita?

RF: I'd have to say The Black Canary. I love that shop. Wish they'd make more.
My absolute favorite lolita dress is actually the rubber one created by Rubber Kittens

M: Who is you favorite arits in dolls and beyond, and baring that wht is your favorite site to get your fix?

RF: I really like MadBird's art. His lovedolls are great.
As far as websites, I'd say Asudem's Doll's Realm blog and Grommet's DollStories.net

M: Well I want to thank you for doing this love, as well as supporting me in this en devour
-kisses and holds tight-

RF: -coos happily-

Exhibit: Angelic Sculpture

Exhibit: Angelic Sculpture

Beginning date: 3-12-12

Here is a statue's statue. Shiari is one of those people who has really reintroduced me into what it's like to love the bliss of posing. When the time came for me to change up her exhibit was due I really was at a loss, she was perfect as the golden statue. My brain was all in knots on how to improve, then I remembered the Dark Delights, Rose  marble skin. I have long loved this skin but its one of those skins you just never see, so I figured I would like to see Shiari in it. In the end we just kinda pinkified her and added the marble latex on her and got her a new more official looking plinth. And I could not be happier with the ways she came out.

There has been a number of very nice and very dedicated statues in SL that I have come across, but Shiari has really struck a cord in me. I feel like I was stone for a long time and then in came some of my new friends and they siphoned the petrification from me into themselves. Shiari is one of those statue that loves to just be admired and be nothing more then a piece of work, as well as be the center of my unhealthy stone obsession.

Exhibit: Interactive Doll

This is the third piece of the customization work by Lita, and another example of her skill. She has taken a pair of familiar ideas, the clock-work doll and the controllable robot and fused them into something truly adorable. Lita has a pull chain attached to her back to wind her for power and a receiver for her remote attached to her wrist to facilitate her controls. The pull chain gives Lita a limited time for action so she ruitinly winds down needing one or a few yanks to get her going again. Her receiver is coupled with a remote to be able to control her movement, this has really given me a thrill to walk her about and take care of the place while I greet the guests. As an interactive doll patrons to the gallery are encouraged to operate her by walking her around, dust up, clean the floors or serve drinks to others.

I personally have seen a lot of dolls, and I emphasize the lot, but Lita has definitely taken the cake in the arena of  F'ing adorable. Her look is really pulled together by her joints, both the prim ones at her elbows and knees and her skin's. The maid dress she is in only seals the deal giving her one of the best doll maids I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

From the Sculptress: Opening Words

Officially the doors to the gallery opened on January 28th of this year, so as of this it has been open to the public for just under two full months. To my complete and utter surprise it has been a success. More so then I could have even dared to hope for.

The Gallery Lapideus is located at SLurl
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The%20Doll%20Works/52/213/22/?title=The%20Gallery%20Lapideus

I started the gallery as an idea to show off the various artists that and authors of the A.S.F.R. genre and hopefully bring greater awareness to their contribution. What a lot of them don't know is they have enhanced the lives of those who have had the joy of viewing it. I can say this without doubt because I can speak from personal experience. To some this may seem like a foreign concept but I know that I have felt connected to the artists when the idea they are portraying within their work has lifted me. I feel that some how these ideas that roam within my head are not just the ravings of a mad woman and that others feel as I do. That is liberating to a point I can not convey in words here. So by placing what I feel some of the best representations of some of the biggest names in A.S.F.R. on the walls of the gallery I am trying to bring that feeling to others and in hopes give back to the artist by doing so.

I also wanted to provide a place for people to come and show themselves as works of art. The idea of having people's avatars around an area posing as statuary, mannequins, and other objects of art is by no means one unique to the gallery. What I wanted to do was bring an element to the idea that has been a little over looked. That each of these individuals was indeed a piece of the over all charm of the area and that without them it was simply a place where the works of others was collected. I have been pleasantly surprised in what this has attracted. I have met those who simply want to be a simple object to those who want to be the elaborate works. To some the thrill of posing is the adoration they receive and to others just becoming no more important then the prims that make up the walls is what they have come for. Regardless of the reason I have always aimed to make them feel both wanted and needed.

For the first time in a long time on Second Life I have felt things as I once did. The magic is back, the wonder of being able to see it as a place of possibilities and where those of like passion can connect in ways not many have the ability to outside of the program. In this short time since it opened the galley has introduced me to a number of people who enjoy the genre on the same level as I do. This bi-product of the project is a surprise that I did not for see, but one I am happy to have.

With this I need to thank a number of individuals for their contributions.
I need to start with Kris Shiras, because with out her none of this would have been possible. Her generosity she has shown as owner of the sim The Doll Works, where the gallery is located, is indeed without equal and I can only express my gratitude in two simple words. Thank you.
Alema Orchid deserves her mention for providing in times when I myself was not willing to.
My close friend and lover Roen Fardel is also top on this list, because without her I would have packed up my digital bags years ago. I love you hun.
Of course I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to the artists whose work is one of the corner stones here. Drake, MadBird CZ, Eltomte, Sebastian BlackCat, Naga, Great Cthulu, ArgoForg, Bob, Sue-chan, and at least a half dozen other whose names I have misplaced at this time.
I owe a debt of thanks to those who have deemed me worthy to donate their time as exhibits to the gallery, Jenna Hansen, Lita Morane, Elarajade, Rvasfr Longspring, AmayaHayata, Shiari Feiri, Jenni Parkin, Katiebug85, Asudem Kasei, Lynne Wirefly, Maniquin Stepford, and Talia Plassitz. As with the artists I am sure I am missing some and with them I am sorry please forgive this mess of disorganization.
There is also those who have donated in the way of both objects and linden dollars, I promise to use your gifts for the betterment of the project.

And last and certainly not least I need to thank you. Because with out you coming to both the gallery and the blog I would never have known that this was all worth while. Every "great place" or :lovely work" or even 1L$ put into the donation vase has only pushed me to do better by you. Thank you from my heart.
